What I Offer
Somatic Individual Therapy
Using a relational body-centered approach grounded in interpersonal neurobiology and evidenced-based strategies, I will support you in addressing issues such as:
Anxiety / Depression
Climate/environmental concerns
Low self-esteem
Loneliness
Existential issues having to do with life’s path/purpose
Relationship difficulties
Complex and acute trauma (C-PTSD + PTSD)
Spiritual awareness/awakening
Grief and loss
Blending traditional client-centered and trauma-informed psychotherapy techniques, I create a nonjudgemental and supportive space to work through negative emotions and feeling stuck or perpetually dissatisfied by life.
Adult Child + Parent Family Therapy
I provide a therapeutic space for adult children and their parents/caregivers to focus on shifting entrenched, often decades-old relational patterns to improve communication and foster mutual respect. This approach recognizes that adult family members still carry the influence of their earlier dynamic, which can manifest as judgement, avoidance, conflict, over-dependence, or emotional distance. I will help the family unit identify these patterns, articulate unmet needs, and practice new, healthier ways of interacting that acknowledge each member's current autonomy. With work toward renegotiating roles and establishing a mature, supportive relationship that honors individual identity while strengthening the family bond. The goal is to move beyond past grievances and create a sustainable, peaceful dynamic for the future.
Couples Therapy
Often couples get stuck in a power struggles that prevents them from recognizing the core needs that aren’t being met. I collaborate with couples to create a non-blaming space where both partners are guided toward genuine understanding and growth.
I help individuals shift the focus away from finding fault and instead empower each person to examine and take full responsibility for their "side of the street"— their actions, reactions, and underlying assumptions.
A central component of our work involves illuminating how your earliest relational blueprints influence your present feelings of connectedness or disconnection. By understanding your unique attachment styles, you learn to articulate your needs safely and respond compassionately to your partner's, thereby building a more secure and resilient bond. This process ultimately transforms cycles of conflict into opportunities for profound intimacy and mutual support.
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy
Feeling stuck but not interested in or able to spend a lot of time and money on traditional psychotherapy?
This practical, goal-oriented approach concentrates immediate solutions rather than dwelling on the problem's history or causes. I offer a “present-forward” approach that is designed to help you feel unstuck as quickly as possible. The process is intentionally brief, often concluding within 5 to 8 sessions, as the focus is on rapid, observable change.
We'll identify your existing strengths, define your desired outcome, and focus on the small, immediate steps that lead to real change. My goal is to help you achieve measurable results quickly, empowering you to move forward on your life path more smoothly and confidently.
